Cookie Policy

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work, such as remembering what is in your cart. Others help us understand how the site is used or tell people from bots. This policy lists the cookies on drinkertoys.com and how to control them.

Cookies we use

Strictly necessary: WooCommerce cookies that keep your cart and checkout working (such as woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart and wp_woocommerce_session_*), and WordPress cookies that keep you signed in if you have an account. These cannot be switched off without breaking the shop.
Order attribution: WooCommerce sets cookies whose names start with sbjs_ to record how you arrived at the site and which page you landed on. They last for your visit.
Spam protection: CleanTalk sets cookies whose names start with ct_ and apbct_ to tell people from bots on forms and checkout. Most last for your visit.
Analytics: Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager set cookies named _ga and _ga_* that last up to two years. They are set when a page loads and count visits and show which pages are popular. Google Analytics also sends data to Google servers, including Google’s doubleclick.net domain.

Fonts

The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google’s servers, and shares your IP address with them, when a page loads. Google Fonts does not use cookies for this.

Payments and checkout

When you pay, our payment processors may set cookies on their own pages to process the payment securely and prevent fraud. Those cookies are governed by their policies, not ours.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though blocking necessary cookies means the cart and checkout will not work. Analytics cookies are set when a page loads. To opt out of Google Analytics everywhere, you can install Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Changes to this policy

If the cookies we use change, we will update this page and the date at the top.
